UX Quick Check

The three problems that really matter

package-ux-quick-check-emanuel-jochum-zehetner

The UX Quick Check is for the moment when you want to know where you really stand: before an investment decision, after a launch, or when problems have been discussed internally for a while without anyone taking a systematic look. I deliver the three problems that matter, and what makes sense as a next step.

Who is it for?

For product owners and managing directors who have a decision ahead of them and don’t want to go in on a gut feeling. Typical situations: a launch is coming up, a redesign is being discussed, or the team has been talking about the same problem for weeks without anyone putting a clear finding on the table.

What you get

  • Clarity on the three problems that really matter.

  • A basis for decisions you can communicate internally without long explanations.

  • An honest view on whether a quick fix is enough or a deeper analysis makes sense.

What’s included

  • Heuristic analysis  of up to 10 core screens or flows

  • 2–3 qualitative impressions from a real user perspective

  • Prioritised findings (PDF, 8–12 pages) with recommendations for action

  • 30-minute walkthrough call

Why work with me?

I’ve reviewed very different kinds of products – from medical apps and B2C software to EdTech platforms and university websites. The real problem is rarely the most obvious one. I’m experienced at finding what actually matters quickly and delivering it in a format you can use internally.

Frequently asked

How much preparation do I need to do?
Very little. I need access to your product, some brief context, and 30 minutes for a shared briefing at the start. I handle the rest.
What happens after the UX Quick Check?
You receive a prioritised set of findings with recommendations. If you want to go deeper after that, we discuss it. There’s no automatic next step, but a potential way to proceed is with the UX Audit.
What’s the difference from the UX Audit?
The UX Quick Check delivers the three problems that matter right now. The UX Audit goes more systematically, with a set of user tests, more screens, and an impact-effort matrix. If you’re not sure which you need, we figure that out in the Discovery Call.

What would be different if you knew?
