Case Studies: MTV global rebrand

In 2009, MTV made a slight relaunch of their visual identity. At its core is a closer alignment of the brand to the show content as well as a design evolution across all media with a flexible brand tool kit. Check out this video about the international brand refresh.

MTV International Brand Refresh – Network Identity & Branding from Carlos Carrasco on Vimeo.

Triggered by the new MTV logo, the focus of the brand refresh was to build
on the stand-out characteristics of the first-ever global rebrand in 2009.

At its core is a closer alignment of the brand to our show content as well as
a design evolution across all media. Essentially a flexible brand tool kit –
smart and adaptable, whilst still full of personality.
